ABOUT OUR CAMPSITE
Glasfryn Escapes is a small campsite located atop the hill over looking Fishguard Bay.
The small holding is now a family run business. Originally Glasfryn Farm, was a dairy farm, then a plant nursery and a garden centre. Now, we are a campsite and cafe.
We, the Chilton family (Gill, Nick, Gareth & Rhianna) constructed a previously tiny camping field into a small natural campsite. We now share our quiet and unique location in Pembrokeshire with you. A small site means that you’re able to ‘escape’ and have the best Pembrokeshire experience. We provide some home comforts in the process. Such as toilets and hot showers (to wash your sea salty hair).

Being in Fishguard means there is quick access to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park (you can see it from our site!). You can head off to enjoy a plethora of exciting and thrilling activities and experiences like coasteering, kayaking and surfing.
Pembrokeshire can cater for all. Rather you could take a more relaxed approach, wandering to hidden coves and natural tranquil locations all over the county. Head over to the blog for some suggestions on our favourite activities.
A GREAT PEMBROKESHIRE CAMPING EXPERIENCE
So that your camping experience is the most enjoyable and memorable campfires and barbecues are a must. While staying with us you will have the use of our up-cycled firepits/BBQs. You can take pleasure in cooking outside or maybe simply toasting some marshmallows on a fire under a blanket of stars. Look here for how to start a campfire.
Escape - Noun (Forget)
'Something that helps you forget about your usual life or problems'

A GREEN CAMPSITE
As we operate within Pembrokeshire, we belong to the Greener Camping Club (a better version of the Caravan & Camping Club). The organisation first started by a small group of like-minded campsite owners. All with a shared passion for sustainable, low impact camping holidays. This means we are a members only site (membership is only £12 per year). The membership fees go towards the 'Trees for Life’ scheme, whereby a tree is planted for every member enrolment.
While part of the GCC we and our guests are helping to sustain a greener, Eco-friendly and more natural setting for campers. It is in order to preserve this wonderful environment around us. Not only in Pembrokeshire lest further afield.

''Stayed the night in our van, and settled in for a BBQ and fire. And an amazing sunset. A hidden gem. Thanks guys it was awesome ''Danny Pryke - Facebook
